Family from Germany Attending the MÂCHÉ Conference
Jurgen Dudek, a Christian father of eight children who has been persecuted in Germany for homeschooling, will be our guest at the annual MÂCHÉ Conference in Rochester on April 18-20, 2013. He will address the crowd and will be sharing some of his experiences of being persecuted and harassed by the German authorities and social services. He was even sentenced to prison, along with his wife, for home educating, but they later won on appeal. His problems are far from over, however, in that he recently lost a case before a high court.
Jurgen will be observing how the MÂCHÉ conference is operated and will glean ideas he can take back to his country to help other homeschoolers. MÂCHÉ is exploring several ways to help our fellow Christian home educators in Germany and will receive an offering for that purpose during the conference. Donations are also accepted at www.mache.org by clicking the donate button on the right side of the upper bar. MÂCHÉ is a recognized 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions are appreciated and are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
