Neo Orthodoxy - A Theology of Despair

Theology has now gone through the same process as other disciplines. Liberal theology tried to find truth with tried yet failed naturalistic presuppositions. It cast out the supernatural. Schweitzer also failed in this area. The search for the supernatural Jesus with only rationalistic humanism failed miserably. Because these naturalistic theologians refused to build on Luther and Calvin in returning to the Bible and chose a division of truth and Kierkegaardism, Neo Orthodoxy presented No truth at all. All that is left for them is experience without any communicable content or verification.
