The Difference Between Biblical Theology and New Theology

The dilemma of man is that he can rise to great heights and sink to awful depths of despair and cruelty to fellow man. Worse than animals. How can man escape this dilemma? By his own rationalistic humanism he cannot escape. Many people are desperately poor. Why? Two possible answers. Metaphysical, or man is too small. Moral, or man is sold out to sin. The New Theologies tells us that man has always been too small so it is not his fault. The Bible tells us that presupposition is wrong. Biblical Christians understand that God made man perfect (in the image of God) and man's despair and cruelty comes from his choosing to rebel or sin against God.
