ARTHUR GLASSER served as a chaplain with the U.S. Marines in the South Pacific during the Second World War. He left San Francisco in 1943 and went to New Zealand. He was stationed at many different places in the South Pacific and established two churches. He participated in the capturing of the Japanese air strip in Cape Glouster.
