The Christian Answer is Valid

The Apostle John wrote “...these things are written that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ and that believing you may have life in his name.” These things are space/time historical events. The Bible does not underestimate man's reasoning power. Christians have a problem in talking with non-Christians because of linguistics. The words we use are a tool to communicate to another man in a way he can understand. Technical terms don't cut it. Language changes over time. Chaucer is hard for 21st Century people to understand. We thus must use language that bears the present meaning of a word. We must take pains to make our message clear. 'God' must mean the infinite, personal God who reveals Himself to man via the Bible and Jesus Christ. Guilt must be related to moral content as revealed in the Bible.
