Making History Come Alive

Use the chapter book, Zillah’s Gift, to teach history and geography, as well as how to handle life-issues like loss, acceptance, and renewal. Students use imagination to enter the historical period 2000 years ago. A doll kit helps the story come alive as students create their own character.
