Raising Safe-minded Children: A Character and Principles-based Approach to Raising Safe Children – 2019

?Raise a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.? (Prov. 22:6) ?Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unaware.? (Heb. 13:2) ?You shall love the stranger, for you were once strangers in the land of Egypt.? (Deut. 10:19) It seems we only think about child safety when we see sad and tragic stories in the news. But if we want our children to grow up safe, we need to teach proper safety habits from early on. And as Christian parents, this can be a challenge! Today we teach: Do not talk to strangers, do not help a stranger, do not trust a stranger, be careful of strangers, etc. This is the exact opposite of the Word of God. After living and working in Japan for over 14 years, I have learned some of the reasons why Japan has always been one of the safest countries in the world. I want to share with parents how to raise safe children ? and still ?love the stranger.?? IT CAN BE DONE!
