Testing and Evaluation: Understanding Standardized Achievement Tests

You ask, “Why do we need to take those annual tests?”? It’s a homeschooling mandate, so we do it; but can there actually be a benefit to the testing process? What constitutes a good score? A bad score? What do the scores mean? If we’re not following the standard scope and sequence, how can we study toward these tests? Or can we study for them? How do you purchase a test or find a tester? All of these issues and more will be discussed in this session.
