As a Bible preacher and teacher, when teaching children, I teach the Bible, word for word, at their learning level. There are no topics or narratives avoided, they are explained in a manner that can be understood. We teach as Moses said to teach in Deuteronomy 6. The goal – get the Word into their heart and mind; make it a part of their lives; encourage them to grow in the Word during class time and at home. I believe in giving children responsibilities in fun and in work. I believe in giving children responsibilities in class and at home. I believe that all children, regardless of learning ability can know Christ and can love Christ. It never comes easy. A child learns best by watching those around them. I believe when an example is set, a life – especially a child’s life – can be transformed. It is our goal as parents, as teachers, as servants of Christ.
