Stephanie Martin, along with her husband Mike, are the parents of seven children, one of whom they adopted at the age of five.  They have home educated their children, ages one to seventeen, for almost twelve years now. For the last six of those years, they have been addressing issues of Reactive Attachment Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, and Anxiety. They have found that family survival takes faith, prayer, support from outside sources, learning new skills, and date nights. Stephanie earned a degree in Sociology from the University of Utah. She enjoys walking, cross-country skiing, and camping. She is excited to share what she has learned through the school of hard knocks, as well as to hear what other parents may be experiencing.
