Steve Demme

Steve Demme and his wife Sandra have been married since 1979. They have been blessed with four sons and, with God’s help, they have all been home educated. Steve addresses a variety of topics at homeschool and family conferences to encourage parents as they seek to build families of faith. His messages are rooted in Scripture, illustrated from personal experiences, and filled with practical application. Recognizing the divine blueprint in Deuteronomy 6:5-7, Steve believes that loving God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might, and having God’s Word on your heart is the prerequisite for teaching our children diligently. The best thing a parent can do for their spouse and children is to be rooted and grounded in Christ. Steve’s vision for the Christian family is where “each lives for Christ and all live for the other.” He has served in full or part time pastoral ministry for many years after graduating from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and has served on the boards of Joni and Friends, Christian Freedom International, and Lifework Forum. A former math teacher who has taught at all levels of math in public, private, and Christian schools, Steve is also the founder of Math-U-See.
