Beacon Homeschool Co-op provides three hours of classes for 1st through 8th graders. Science and Gym are regularly-scheduled classes, and our third hour varies each year. We also have a PreK/K class and a Nursery.
While our students are in class, the moms stay and have a meeting time as well. (We are not a drop-off co-op.) The content of the mom’s time varies, generally consisting of announcements and planning, prayer time, education for moms, and small group time.
Beacon meets at Grace Point Church in New Brighton. We meet on the first and third Fridays of each month during the school year, from 9:00-12:15.
