Faribault Area Christian Home Educators (FACHE) is a fairly informal support group. There are regular opportunities for the moms to meet, either in homes or at a local restaurant for coffee/dessert. We have an open gym time once or twice a month, as well as occasional field trips and opportunities to go to plays at the Guthrie Theater. What our group does varies from year to year, according to the interests and participation of our members. We are looking for ways to be more active in the community and currently meet at least once a year at a local nursing home to sing to the residents. We also have a young filmmakers group that meets twice a month. Our leader sends out weekly informational emails and a monthly e-newsletter. Last summer we started a baseball group which met once a week to play. There is no charge to join our group, and we always welcome new members.
