Group Details:
Light is a home-school cooperative group, which means we work in cooperation– together– to support one other as home educators and encourage one another as fellow Christ followers. Our goal is to build community and give students the opportunity to interact with one another in ways that are more difficult to achieve at home. Active, consistent involvement on class days, as well as special events, is vital to the health of this group.
We support and connect through the following events and activities: monthly classes that run September-May, bi-monthly field trips, family events, and mom’s connect nights. Our year kicks off with a harvest party event and concludes with a presentation night, and field day. By joining our group, there is an expectation that you will strive to attend as many events as possible– it’s difficult to be a part of a community if you’re not present.
