Learn how to keep a beautiful and educational nature journal with a simple approach for all ages. Each six-week course includes six weekly 2-hour drop-off classes. Students will participate in a guided hike and receive guided nature journaling instruction each week. The class meets at Katherine Abbott Park in Mahtomedi, which features beautiful woodland, ponds, and field settings for variety in nature study. The six-week format allows students to develop their skills while learning some favorite nature journal page styles, including phenology wheels, color swatching, map making, and how to include poetry and quotes in their work. All materials are provided. Ages 7+ for drop-off, please.
