Friendly, helpful, and willing to facilitate a good workshop experience for attendees and speakers. Assist attendees with any issues and the speaker in getting set up for the presentation. Make sure the workshop runs smoothly.

We need a few skilled volunteers to help video record several of the MACHE workshops during convention weekend. Experience preferred. We will provide the equipment.

Good people skills, able to be on feet for long periods of time and to lift boxes of books. Help with exhibitor move-in/move-out and general exhibit hall needs. Help in MACHE speakers’ booths while they are presenting workshops.

Amateur photographer with good camera to take quality, creative photos (posed and candid) of every part of the convention weekend for MACHE to use in future publications.

Friendly, helpful students (ages 15-19) who can work quickly and keep the area orderly and protected. In ‘down times,’ students may be asked to help in other areas (i.e. exhibit hall, bagging, or as ’runners’).

Previous experience/knowledge required in quality audio recording, audio editing, and website uploading. Also, volunteers with good people skills to manage audio sales booths (pre-convention training required). Will need to bring personal laptop computers.

Friendly, outgoing, and willing to help conference attendees find meeting rooms and provide overall conference surveillance.  Ability to respond quickly in the event of emergency. Able to stand for long periods of time.

Must be a support group or coop leader.  Help parents navigate the digital kiosk.  Answer questions related to homeschooling and the benefits of support groups or coops.
